I am a 12-year-old TechKids Program student at the Owerri Digital Village (ODV) in Nigeria.
I first learned about YTF’s work from a neighbor. I enjoy my time learning as the “aunties” and “uncles” (my teachers at ODV!) are very nice and patient. They help me learn and grow in a very supportive environment!
I’m blessed that I’m able to attend the TechKids program as a scholarship recipient and hope that many other young people will have the opportunity to attend.
I want to be an engineer when I grow up because I like to use my hands to build things. Also, to develop Africa, we need infrastructure, such as airways and railways, and I think that all starts with having good engineers!
My favorite subject in school is social studies because I learns about different cultures and people. My hobby is reading and I recently completed, “The Black Stallion’s Filly”, a book that inspired me to want to travel to see the world. One day, I may just end up at the Kentucky Derby and I will love that!
